Every year we take our kids and grandkids on an annual vacation. It's our big event! This year we chose to travel to Destin FL. I rented a home through Ocean Reef Resorts. I have probably rented homes in this manner 10 times, but this is the first time I used Ocean Reef Resorts to do so. The experience was superior to any I have had in the past. The house was absolutely beautiful. The location was fabulous with only 400 yards between us and the Gulf of Mexico and the pristine beaches of Destin. The Grits Carlton was immaculate when we arrived and during our week's stay everything was in order with absolutely no glitches. When we travel to Florida again we will definitely use Ocean Reef Resorts to locate another perfect home for our trip!

Our Ladies group from Bethlehem Baptist Church had a wonderful time here. THE GRITS CARLTON is the perfect place for a ladies retreat. We hope to come back next year.

Grits Carlton was the most amazing property that our family has ever rented. We have rented plenty over the last 15 years. The house is decorated with a sophisticed beach style that I would love to have in my own home. You will not
be disappointed if you rent this gated property. The location is quaint and quiet with a private beach that is a 2 minute walk from the house. There is a tiny ocean view from one of the upstairs master bedrooms. We walked to the nearby grocery and the outlet stores. We got in our car 2 times during our one week stay. All I can say is I hope this property doesn't book up before I get to rent it again! We will be back!!

The reason I say we will not return is mainly due to the fact that we own a condo at West Winds in Sandestin and for a family vacation it was too small so we needed a large house. Grits Carlton however was great, except no pool and the lake it sits on needs work, the water could be pretty if improvements were made. Ocean Reef was a great company to work with, no problems and the agent, Wes was johnny on the spot with any questions I had. Greaty guy to work with.
