We have never rented a private vacation home, so this was our first experience. The house seemed perfect, but you always think the pictures are making it look better than it is. Well... not so in this case.... this house was everything I pictured it to be, and honestly, even more. It fit our group perfectly. The whole ground level was devoted to 6 boys who took full advantage of the pool, theater room, and snack bar. Adults were happy to be on the second floor chilling out. King bedroom for the 2 little girls. All 3 adult couples had master suites on the third floor. This made a great get away when you just wanted to sit on the balcony, view the ocean, and read and relax away from the kids. How could it be any more perfect. I thought I would be disappointed because it wasn't beach front, but actually the 2 minute walk made it safer to know the kids weren't just wandering into the ocean alone. The pool was priceless as it was a cooler environment and could just jump in whenever you wanted. The kitchen and fabulous appliances were so upscale that the ladies didn't even mind cooking. Even the block long walk to Alvin's Island was fun and we all had to get our reasonably priced souvenirs. With Ocean Reef office a block away, we could stop in and ask questions and get referrals. They were all very helpful. I found that since the house was so neat, we didn't have anyone clamoring to go do activities. Oh, and I can't forget, it is pet friendly. Our little bichon was very greatful that he could come along. This was a memorable experience for all of the group. We all loved the house and the location. Also, I must compliment Sarahs Gourmet. We had several entrees waiting for our group when we arrived and that was the best decision I made. Crab cakes for adults with conplimentary champagne, several other things for the kids. A great way to start the vacation. Also the reef rewards were very useful.
